Using the tool

My Shift Today is free and open to anyone, with no sign-up. Use it to organise your shifts and cross-check your hours as often as you like.

The figures are estimates

The calendar, the hours and the pay estimates are built from the data you enter. They are not a payslip and they are not employment advice. Rules change with contract, approved working-time system, collective agreement and applicable law. Always check with your employer or a qualified professional before acting on them.

We accept no responsibility for decisions taken solely on the basis of these calculations.

Ownership of the content

The text, the pattern guides, the design, the code and the tools on this site are original work and protected by copyright. Copying, reproducing in whole or in part, or republishing them elsewhere is not permitted, whether for profit or not.

What you may do, and we're glad if you do: link to any page, quote a short passage with attribution and a link, and use the files the tool produces (calendars, spreadsheets) for anything you like, including commercially. What you generate is yours.

Availability

The service is provided "as is". There may be outages, changes or features withdrawn without notice. Since everything is stored on your device, download a backup if keeping your setup matters to you.
